Afterglow

(My friend Nissan was the first person who made me listen to this song while i was going through a break up back in Delhi....It just inspired me to write a similar one) Inspired from Whisky Lullaby....And coincidentally Afterglow is also a song by INXS and one of my all time favorites :)


She never looked back at what she left
His shadow remained still and dead
He faked moving on to keep her away
but his days were full of her yesterday
and one gloomy night in his pain
he hung on a rope, with a note on his hand
he stood still with no floor to touch below
he wrote-

She knew she had made a big mistake
she went dry for days after she wept
